Alex and Michelle – Engagement Photos

Alex and Michelle brought so much wow to this engagement session at Thompsons Beach in KZN. With so much chemistry, it’s no surprise these photographs are as amazing as they are.

Michelle and Alex attended a bridal fair where they entered a competition and WON an engagement session with me. I’m not sure about everyone else, but when it comes to competitions, I never win anything. So, it makes my heart happy to be able to offer this kind of opportunity to someone else. It’s also a great way to meet an engaged couple and introduce them to my work so that I could be considered to photograph their wedding.

As soon as I found out Michelle had won the prize, I contacted her to make the arrangements for their session. The idea for her session was clear to me, a beach setting at sunrise and loads of emotions. Now, nature can be unpredictable and sometimes plans to need to change, as it did with their session. With heavy cloud cover, we waited for the sun to appear and then the rest was just pure magic.
